HEALTH & SAFETY

Courses currently available:

• Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace  (1/2 Day)
  • During this half day course, learners will develop a basic knowledge of health and safety issues such as: hazards and risks in the workplace, workplace conditions that can affect health and safety, and the requirements for workplace procedures.

• Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace  (1 Day)
  • During this 1 day qualification, learners will develop an understanding of health and safety issues, including: health and safety laws, risk assessments and risk control hierarchy, identifying and controlling risks from common workplace hazards and more.

• Level 2 Award in Principles of COSHH (1/2 Day)
  • During this half day course, learners will develop their understanding of the law relating to hazardous substances in the workplace and the precautions and procedures required to ensure they are properly controlled, as well as learn how risk assessments contribute to the safe use of hazardous substances.
