FOOD SAFETY

Courses currently available:

Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (1 Day)
- During this 1 day course, learners will build an understanding on the importance of safe food handling practices and keeping foods safe. Topics covered include: food safety laws, types of contamination and the associated risks, bacteriology, personal hygiene, safe food handling practices and more.

Level 2 Award in Food Allergen Awareness (1/2 Day)
- This half day qualification provides learners with knowledge of food allergens and food intolerances, the effects these can have on individuals, how to control cross-contamination from allergenic ingredients and how to provide accurate food allergen information.
